It’s here!

Assembly weekend this year in Sheffield!

A huge thanks to the North East Area for all their support this year. If you are not able to be with us, we will miss you but there will be a basic live stream event and the day will be recorded for you to watch afterwards too.

If you are joining us, hurray! Travel safe and I look forward to welcoming you.

Let’s pray together for the weekend.

Father God, thank you for the Congregational Federation. We thank you for our history and that we can carry on the tradition of meeting together in freedom to praise you, to worship you, to be inspired, to meet new friends, catch up with old friends, to celebrate ministry and all that is church. We thank you for the abundance we have.

Father God, we pray blessings on our Assembly. We pray everyone will arrive and find the venues easily, we pray for the Staff and Chairs of Committee’s who have prepared presentations, we pray they will be well received, and we pray for those having a Stand and sharing about their work that they will be encouraged.

We pray for our President and President elect as they lead and inspire us.

We thank you for the venue and all the people who will helping to make it happen.

We pray for a mighty movement of your Holy Spirit as we gather over all the events, that you will be glorified and praised.

We pray for those who can’t travel but would have loved to join us, we pray they know your comfort and presence and catch the vision and mood of the room.

Father be a shield over our Assembly, protect us and accept the worship we bring to you. Build your church, build the Congregational Federation and bring revival.

In the mighty name of Jesus I pray, Amen
