Day Thirty One - God’s way forward in your life and mine

It is important that we remain aware that God has a way forward for each person. That way forward is in all ways unique to you and me as an individual. Help with this is clearly underlined in Matthew Chapter 7, verses 7 and 8. As you may already know there are three suggestions here which are Asking, Seeking and Knocking!

These basic principles of God’s guidance used to be much used at a monthly Saturday night rally held in Clifton, Bristol. These were Youth Evenings where many young people were gathered and given the opportunity to begin their Christian journey under the guidance of the Lord Jesus. I would be there as a voluntary Youth Leader with a coachload of young people each month from Yate and Chipping Sodbury. Their positive response led them towards daily Bible reading, an opportunity to pray together and Christian based holidays.

This all happened not because I am particularly gifted humanly speaking but it was God revealing HIS plan, His way forward for each day of their lives! I wonder how far you and I are down that road that God has planned for us and our loved ones?

How many people young or old await God’s blessings as HE equips you, I wonder?

Please set time aside today and consider this.

PRAYER TIME

Ask God again what He has planned for your life and lifestyle.

Ask for God’s blessing as you allow him to equip you.

Give thanks to God in Jesus Christ in advance for His willingness to use us day by day. Amen.
