I continue to find it a great blessing to wake up each morning and know that God, my Heavenly Father, through his Son, the Lord Jesus, and the guidance of his Holy Spirit are all available to me.

This is highlighted in Paul’s letter to the Romans, Chapter 12, verses 1 and 2, which say the following:

"Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God – this is your true and proper worship. Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is – his good, pleasing and perfect will."

I suspect that you, like me, have faced a wide variety of decisions to make and uncertainties to counter in your life so far.

When I look back I am mindful of God’s wonderful guidance in a whole variety of ways and recognise clearly that my daily times of thoughtfulness, listening and combining with like-minded others have been very important.

There is not time or space within this article to go into great detail. However, let me assure you that God has unfolded his plan despite my own inconsistency, even my opposition at times!

Prayer time

Thank you, Father, for your wonderful guidance in my life so far. Please keep me aware each of what you have in mind for my way forward. I ask this in your name and for your sake.

Amen.
